Sorry to hear that you are jumping ship Alex... However, I hope that you are truly happy with the Drag III kit.
Good luck my friend.

random.. I guess I am just too impatient. If I was going to do it anyway, mine as well take advantage of the great deal. I was able to work out a great deal with Ben without all the hooplas such as guages, missing link, fmu, fuel pump, or TIAL wastegate.. I already have all of that. It was 2800 shipped to my door. It will be my turbo "starter" kit.
Jim...
I maybe jumping ship to the other side of FI, but I will still be here as I feel his is my home in vast www. land. I to this day don't have any real big grips about the jrsc. I am very happy for what it had to offer to me. When it was in my daily driver "teggy" it NEVER left me stranded. But now times have changed. I have been fortune it enough that my job has allowed for me to spend "alittle" more
--sarcasticly!! I would have loved to continue to play with the JRSC, but unlike yourself I am not sponsored, nor do I have the assistance from JR in anyway to make me want to continue to spend money on the kit. For street use and for mild boost it is great, but the intake temps really concern me (227 degrees! That's hotter than my coolant temp which run 175
!!!). I guess what I mean is, your have the opportunity for example to prototype there up and coming goodies which I think is really great that you do. ie intercooler, however, I can't wait 6-12 months for something that "MIGHT" work. I know N02 would work, but I don't want to squeeze everytime I get on the throttle. So in short.. I guess I have given in.. but it should be fun. Oh and btw.. I know you are going to have Harv tune your speed pro, but if you have any questions or need anything, give me a holler, I really like this system!

Ok... how about taking a few days off and come over and help me wire this damn thing !!!
LOL
Just to clarify...
I was not suggesting that you leave the board just because you are going turbo. On the contrary, regardless of where in the "Dark Side" you reside... you have much to offer the turbo family here just as you did with the JRSC clan. We all appreciate your participation here.
As for the sponsorship gouges... go easy. Besides a great deal on a JRSC kit, a set of B&G coil-overs and a Fluidyne radiator... I have paid my hard earned cash for EVERYTHING ELSE. This includes a $15K plus engine. Why do you think this project is taking SO DAMN LONG !?! I don't sell drugs for a living... just Import parts.
heheh
